On October 16, at the User Ecological Conference - Technology Day, EXEED featured one of its most anticipated innovations – Kunpeng Power. This momentous event demonstrated EXEED’s unwavering commitment to shaping the future of mobility through its technological prowess. Bolstered by a robust R&D system and resources, EXEED is determined to lead in green new energy, intelligence, and ecological technologies while adhering to the global attributes of technology and products.

 

Kunpeng Power: Redefining Automotive Technology with Performance and Efficiency

 

EXEED Kunpeng Power represents a monumental shift in automotive technology, delivering both exceptional performance and energy efficiency. Underpinning this innovation is a myriad of advancements that seamlessly connect to offer a groundbreaking driving experience.


A key highlight of Kunpeng Power is its remarkable energy efficiency. It has significantly reduced fuel consumption from 5.4L to a mere 4.2L per 100 kilometers. This means that for every 100 kilometers you drive, you'll be using less fuel, which translates to both cost savings and a reduced environmental footprint. The transmission system has been upgraded to a three-speed super electric hybrid DHT delivering a smoother and more efficient gear changes.

 

Kunpeng Power also brings a remarkable improvement in battery life. Previously, it could travel 100+ kilometers on electric power alone. Now, it can travel a staggering 1300+ kilometers on a single charge. Imagine taking a long road trip without worrying about running out of power or stopping frequently to recharge.

 

The engine's thermal efficiency, which essentially measures how well it converts fuel into energy, now stands at over 44.5%. This means more of the energy generated from the fuel goes into moving the car, making it more powerful and fuel-efficient. The engine itself can produce a maximum power of 115 KW and a maximum torque of 220N·m. It's like going from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds – a thrilling experience.

 

Additionally, the electric motor in Kunpeng Power has been upgraded to 165 KW from the previous 150 KW. This gives the vehicle more power when you need it, like when overtaking another vehicle on the highway. The wheel end output torque has surpassed 4000N·m. This improvement results in better control and traction, making your drive safer and more stable.

 

Advancing Hybrid Technology

 

The DHE6.0 hybrid technology is at the heart of Kunpeng Power. DHE6.0 Hybrid boasts the highest compression ratio, reaching an impressive 17. This enhanced compression, combined with active pre-ignition jet technology, translates to more efficient combustion. With a thermal efficiency exceeding 45%, it ensures that a greater percentage of the energy from the fuel is converted into useful power.

 

What does all this technical prowess mean for you? The DHE6.0 Hybrid offers an ultimate fuel consumption experience. You can expect your vehicle to consume 6% less fuel than the previous generation, resulting in substantial savings at the pump. Moreover, with lower emissions, you can take pride in contributing to a cleaner environment.

 

EXEED's commitment to technological advancement extends beyond the DHE6.0 Hybrid. The evolution of hybrid technology is evident in their Smart Hybrid 3.0 and Intelligent Hybrid 4.0, each introducing a host of benefits.

 

Smart Hybrid 3.0 boasts a motor with a remarkable maximum speed of 16,000rpm. This translates to more dynamic and responsive acceleration. With an integrated installation method for the MCU, the power module operates at 750V IGBT. This results in improved power management. Moreover, the maximum mechanical efficiency of the reducer reaches an impressive 98%. This means less energy is wasted during power transfer, ensuring that more of it is directed towards propelling the vehicle. Overall, this means a smoother and more dynamic driving experience. The improved efficiency translates to better fuel economy, reducing the cost of ownership while contributing to a cleaner environment.

 

On the other hand, the Intelligent Hybrid 4.0 boasts a motor with a maximum speed exceeding 20,000rpm, promising even more exhilarating acceleration and performance. The deep integration of the MCU, coupled with a power module operating at 1200V SiC, enhances power management to unprecedented levels. Additionally, with a maximum mechanical efficiency exceeding 98.5%, you can expect a seamless and efficient power transfer within the vehicle. This will take your driving to the next level. The enhanced motor performance and advanced power management result to consuming only less fuel and emitting fewer pollutants, all while enjoying a more thrilling drive.

 

Kunpeng Power's Cutting-Edge Development

 

The battery development in Kunpeng Power is nothing short of revolutionary. Battery Development Generation 3.0 introduces an 800V high-voltage architecture, self-healing semi-solid batteries, and thermoelectric separation. This innovation allows for rapid charging and operation in a wide temperature range. Meanwhile, Battery Pre-development Generation 4.0 advances the technology with an 800-1500V high-voltage architecture, solid-state batteries, and super-fast charging capabilities, providing a 1.5-minute charge for 500 kilometers of travel.


The journey to Kunpeng Power was marked by significant milestones in development, with efficient engines achieving remarkable thermal efficiency and high-efficiency hybrid boxes delivering substantial upgrades. In the pre-research generation, EXEED pushed boundaries even further with engines powered by clean energy, higher mechanical efficiency, and intelligent battery technologies.

 

Aside from Kunpeng Power, EXEED also unveiled other groundbreaking technologies during Technology Day. Mars Architecture introduces advanced connectivity and safety features that redefine the driving experience. Lion Intelligence leverages AI integration to enable vehicles to adapt intelligently to changing road conditions.
